The X Factor judge is putting her celebrity status and recent success to good use by raising money for Comic Relief.
The 25 year old has been recruited by Garry Barlow and will be climbing Mount Kilimanjaro in February along with Chris Moyles, Denise Van Outen, Alesha Dixon, Fearne Cotton, Ronan Keating, Ben Shephard and Girls Aloud band mate, Kimberly Walsh.
Gary told the Sun, ‘I went to Africa for Comic Relief 18 months ago and the images from that trip have stayed with me and made me want to do something big to make a difference and raise money' adding,
‘The other people on the climb feel similarly, so it made sense to ask them to join me.
'I have chosen the people I want to be stuck on the side of a mountain with, even if we are the least likely you would expect to find there.
'We are all nervous and are trying to fit training into our schedules but the team spirit, enthusiasm and commitment are incredible.’
