Singers Rihanna and Chris Brown have been served with a $1million lawsuit filed by paparazzi Luis Santana.
The photographer was knocked to the ground by bodyguards during a scuffle outside a nightclub where Chris Brown was celebrating his 19th birthday.
Luis Santana claims that as he snapped the pair getting out of a limousine outside Vintage Ultra Lounge he was pushed to the ground by the couples bodyguards. And, in the midst of the confusion his camera along with the lucrative photo of the pair was stolen, for which he is now claiming compensation for.
The pap told the media, 'I couldn't believe it was happening. I've done this many, many times before and never have I ever gotten close to being grabbed. There's a dark side to celebrities and nightlife,'.
Rihanna's spokesperson Jonathan Hay dismissed the case, 'I do believe that this matter is completely blown out of proportion and I strongly believe that we need to focus on the positive things in the world, not the negative things. Sadly, we are living in a full-blown recession during this holiday season of giving - so let us try to give attention to the positive things in the world and focus on God and our families'.
Chris Brown's attorney has also stated, 'neither Chris Brown nor his security was involved in the alleged incident.'
