The 38 year old received the sum from Libyan director Colonal Gaddafi's son after she agreed to perform at the Nikki Beach Club on the Caribbean island of St Barts. Mariah attended the event with husband Nick Cannon, who she's now been married to for 8 months, she also squashed pregnancy rumours by guzzling champagne and oysters throughout the evening. Other performers on the night included Jay Z and Timbaland who performed together on stage, Jay Z's wife Beyonce Knowles was also in attendance. Everyone was in good company as guests at the star studded event included James Bond actor Daniel Craig and funnyman Eddie Murphy, a source says 'They all had a great time.' Believe it or not Mariah is not the first singer to receive a $1million performance pay out. Kylie Minogue received the same amount when she sang at the private launch party of the Luxury Atlantis, The Palm resort in Dubai.
