Britney Spears ensured she celebrated turning 27 at every given opportunity.
The singer kicked off the celebrations with a live performance of Womanizer on Good Morning America, fans lined up outside the circus tent pitched at the Lincoln Center to show their support.
Her fans were cheering so loudly that Britney couldn't hear a thing, during the show she said 'That's so sweet,' 'Thank you!'
Celebrities including Reese Witherspoon, Hugh Jackman and Taylor Swift all sent Britney their birthday wishes, before the shows hosts presented her with a breathtaking 5 tier birthday cake.
One fan told MTV that Britney's two young sons, Jayden James and Sean Preston who were in attendance, showed their support, 'They were cheering her on, they were excited! They were so cute,'
Britney pushed things on with a very private circus themed bash at New York's Tenjune nightclub. One party goer told E! that the place was done up like a circus tent with hot dog and popcorn stands as well as a cotton candy machine, all of which were adorned with the guest of honours name.
Did I mention that Britney Spears' new album is entitled Circus?
