According to new reports, EMI, record label of Katy Perry and Coldplay, has lost a staggering $1.2billion!
Analysts blame the loss on 'poor' operational performance, high executive salaries and poor reporting data on artists profitability.
This isn't the first time the major record label has made a substantial loss, last year EMI lost $455million, lets hope Katy Perry and Coldplay's consistent record sales help them do better this year.
In other news, Katy's been branded a No 1 Idiot by anti knife campaigners after she posed with a flick knife for a publicity photo.
The father of knife victim Damilola Taylor says, 'There is nothing glamorous about knives — they wreck families. 'Any youngsters seeing her will think it is OK to carry a blade.'
Sources who were at the photo shoot revealed, 'The knife picture was done to give Katy more of a sexy, harder edge. 'But in the end it wasn’t picked as a main shot for her album or website.'
Knife crime has resulted in the murders of 60 young people, 27 of which occurred in London .
