The Bafta winning Gavin and Stacey funny man is well known for having an eye for the ladies and now his wandering eye is on X Factor record breaker, Alexandra Burke.
James Corden approached the singers mum, former Soul II Soul singer Melissa Bell, and asked to put them in touch.
Melissa, 44, told the Sun 'He is absolutely besotted. It’s a bit full on but Alexandra seems to be taking it in her stride.' The 30 year old is so besotted that he presented Alexandra with a £4,000 Cartier watch, Melissa added 'I wish he’d give me a Cartier watch too!'
Another source revealed 'Alexandra is massively flattered and overwhelmed. A gift like that is hard to ignore.'
'Although they are texting each other, I can’t see her falling for his charms. He’s not really her type.'
The ladies man has also been linked to Lilly Allen and was recently seen flirting with Strictly Come Dancing Champion Aleesha Dixon at the Cosmopolitan Woman of the Year awards.
Alexandra looks set to nab the Christmas number 1 spot as her cover of Leonard Cohen's Hallelujah sold 185,000 copies over night before the CD was even released.
