 It was said by many eyewear suppliers that Oliver Peoples Airman Platinum would be the frame worn by James Bond in 'Quantum of Solace', scheduled for cinema release in November.

 It's recently been confirmed in writing that Tom Ford sunglasses will infact be the shades worn by James Bond in the upcoming action flick.

 The style that will be worn by James Bond is Tom Ford 108 James Bond ,colour 19V, and is part of the Spring/Summer 2009 collection and comes in three other colours. 
 Looking at the images side by side it's easy to see why there was confusion about the exact model of sunglasses that Bond will be wearing.

 Tom Ford worked with Costume Designer, Louise Frogley, to provide made-to-measure tailored and casual clothing including eveningwear, suits, shirts, knitwear, ties and accessories including the exclusive hand made 108 James Bond 19V sunglasses.

 Tom Ford's 108 James Bond 19V frame has dedicated packaging and a customized Tom Ford James Bond 007 logo, the Sunglasses Shop already has the 108 frame on order and will soon be available online and in store. 
 EON Productions/Danjaq, LLC, have produced twenty two James Bond films since 1962, including 'Quantum of Solace', making the James Bond franchise the longest running in film history.
