Celebrities and protesters graced the red carpet at the Tropic Thunder film premier. The story behind the movie is a big budget war movie is being made by a first time director and a heartless producer that stars 3 big name actors (Jack Black, Ben Stiller and Robert Downey Junior). When filming doesn't start to go so well the producer and director become a combination of both anger and despair, whilst the 3 actors hinder the whole filming process. It's then decided to attempt gritty realism in the movie the 3 actors will be dropped in the middle of the jungle, however the 3 actors are dropped into the wrong country. They believe they're secretly being filmed for their movie in the middle of the jungle, but they're in for the fight of their lives.

The film has stirred up controversy due to a particular scene in the film where the character Kirk Lazarus (Robert Downey Junior), advises character Tugg Speedman how best to play an award winning performance of a mentally disabled character. Speedman needs the advice as his previous role as 'Simple Jack' the farm boy was a fiasco. 'Never go full retard,' Lazarus tells Speedman. Actors who win critical acclaim, including Dustin Hoffman in 'Rain Man' and Tom Hanks in 'Forrest Gump', Lazaurus then adds, play partially disabled. Those who go 'full retard', such as Sean Penn in 'I Am Sam', get shut out during awards season.

Above Tom Cruise is wearing his usual quirky, small framed sunglasses. As the smaller man a smaller frame is more flattering on Tom's face. I'd recommend our Ray Ban 3044's to Tom which are very like the sunglasses her wears above, they look like our regular Ray Bans only they're smaller, and come with either a gold or black frame.
Who's up for a game of spot the difference?! These girls obviously didn't switch notes on their outfits for the premier, the only real difference between the two is Maria Menounos brought a clutch bag. British born actress Vanessa Angel pulls this look off best, the sheen on Maria's dress makes it look less expensive, especially teamed up with that silver belt!
