Over the weekend Donald Trump and Nakheel (a government owned company) threw a party for the stars and celebs to introduce Trumps International Skyscraper Hotel in Dubai, however the party was held at a private estate in Bel-Air USA. The 62 story hotel and residential home cost approximately 700 million dollars! No wonder only the rich and famous were invited to this introduction bash, the 300-rooms 5 star hotel which comes complete with private beach, yacht club, tennis courts, gymnasium etc comes with a hefty price tag only they could afford.

Singer Christina Aguilera (below middle) performed live at the launch party and has been signed to publicise the Trump International Hotel and Tower, one of Dubai's biggest developments. The 26 year old singer is the latest celeb Trump has enlisted to help promote his Dubai developments.
Earlier this month Enrique Iglesias entertained home buyers at the launch party for development Dream Harbour, and next month Kylie Minogue will be launching Nakheel's Atlantis, a flagship resort on Palm Jumeirah.
Trump International Hotel and Tower Dubai is the first joint venture between the Trump organisation and Nakheel. Construction began earlier this year and the expected completion date is 2011. Price records for this project were broken within hours of the properties going on sale when a buyer offered 30 million dollars for a penthouse, that's 3 thousand dollars per square foot. Sounds like those prices may even be a stretch for these A listers!
